Here are some flashback photos to 2015 when we visited this fairytale of a town - Molveno, Italy. And when I say fairytale, I'm not exaggerating. A town in-between the dolomite mountains and built around a large glacial lake. Picturesque houses, magical mountain views, and the nicest people. The first moment we saw the dolomite mountains as we were driving, we were left speechless. Photos will never do places like this justice. The grandeur of it all was really breathtaking and left us in awe of God's work.
We arrived during a quiet time, right before the peak tourist season began. At times it felt like we were the only tourists there among the locals. During our stay we hiked, biked, drank limoncello, ate a lot carbonara, and met awesome locals.
Even though we've been to quite a few places already, I can safely say that Molveno will always remain a favorite. It's hidden gems like this town that make our love for travel grow and grow.
Have an amazing weekend everyone!
Hello lovely people & Happy St. Valentines Day everyone!!!!! :)
On the first Valentines Day as a married couple. here are a few of my favorite photos of US. :)
I love celebrating our love. What we have is the greatest gift from God I could ever receive. Though our love isn't always easy nor is it perfect, so far it's my greatest adventure and blessing. I fall more and more for this man every day. So thankful for his love and for His Love. And I'm just in love with LOVE! <3 :)
So I always hear people saying that Valentines Day is a commercialized and cheesy holiday only meant for couples. Although I agree that we should show love to our significant others more then once a year and that most holidays have become mega-commercialized.... I still LOVE Valentines Day!
Let's start with the fact that this day commemorates St. Valentine! St. Valentine was a roman priest and the story goes that he was sentenced to death after getting caught helping Christian couples get married, which was illegal at the time. He gave his life for LOVE.
In my opinion, there is never a bad day to celebrate love between two people. It's just another reminder to appreciate our loved ones and be grateful for the love in our lives that we tend to take for granted. From husbands & wives to boyfriends & girlfriends.. to parents, family and friends... and most of all GOD!
Love is all around us. Each and everyone of us has someone who we love and who loves us back. So take today to appreciate every kind of love, from romantic love to the love between and mother and child to the love between best friends.. to the greatest Love of all, through which all other love is possible.
I hope you are all having a wonderful Valentine's day however you are celebrating it!
