Oh Mallorca!! Where do I begin? Honestly... I miss it everyday. It's one of the most beautiful places we've been to thus far. It has beautiful beaches, every single one of them a little different then the one before. Charming towns, old spanish style brick buildings and sidewalks and cute cafes and restuarants. Awesome countryside with amazing mountains and views. We got to see a little bit of everything while on our honeymoon there.
First off...our picturesque hotel room by the sea with an amazing view of the crystal blue waters. Despite me coming down with a fever, the first two days were spent mostly in the water at Cala Sant Vicenc right by our hotel. We swam out on a float to explore and even jumped off a cliff, which was super scary but totally worth it. In the evening we headed to a cute little town called Port de Pollenca for dinner, so many cute coffeshops and restuarants. The town square was full of tourists of course, but the surrounding alleyways were pretty much empty for us to explore.
The next day we visited probably one of the best beaches in the world... Cala Mesquida! The water was mesmerizing.. it was the prettiest shade of aqua and we couldn't stop looking at it, it almost seemed unreal. Clear blue warm water, golden sand, perfect sunny weather.. what more could you ask for.
Stay tuned for the rest of our honeymoon pictures!
Hope you're having an awesome Wednesday so far.
Sharing a short snippet video and some throwback pictures with you from this past Labor day weekend! Mario and I drove up to Wisconsin with some family and friends to enjoy a couple nights under the stars. I feel like I need to go camping at least once a year, it's such a fun experience. The fresh air, the amazing sunsets, the breathtaking stars, brisk morning air... it all makes you appreciate nature so much. And the best part of camping is that you don't have to go that far to really see the beauty of nature. For me two nights of camping is even more relaxing then a week of vacation. Sleeping outside and being out in the fresh forest air really refuels your energy.
We got to camp near an awesome lake, and the sunsets were so beautiful. I'm a sucker for a great sunset, so of course I had to take some pictures. There is no better light then sunset light, all the colors blowing up in the sky. Ahh! God is good. And whenever I look at the sunset I remember that he created the whole world and it's beauty just for US.
Other then the sunsets, the STARS. All it takes is to drive a couple hours from Chicago to see an amazing night sky. Looking at the milky way fills me with so much wonder, just thinking about the grandeur of our universe is completely mind boggling. On top of that, we saw so many shooting stars, including the most amazing one I've seen that lit up the whole sky.
I hope you enjoy these snippets from our camping trip, and maybe if you haven't already done so this year it'll motivate you to go out camping! Fall is here but there's still a chance to get out there before winter. Camping in the brisk Autumn air among the changing colors... highly recommend.
Hope you're enjoying your thursday everyone!!
